Blue mostly gemmy cubic crystals of fluorite to 0.5 cm in size across the top of matrix with crystals of galena. Minimal cleaving present, still in good condition and a nice example for the locality and species.

The Royal Flush Mine, located within the Hansonburg Mining District of Socorro County, New Mexico, was primarily active during the mid-20th century, reaching peak operations as a major producer of barite and lead during the 1950s, with intermittent modern work shifting toward fine mineral specimen collection. Geologically, the deposit is situated along steep, westerly dipping fault structures and highly fractured Pennsylvanian limestones (specifically within the Council Spring Limestone and Burrego Formation). Mineralization formed via hydrothermal basinal brines, creating open-space fillings and crystal-lined vugs containing prominent primary minerals such as fluorite, barite, galena, and quartz.
