Green frosted octahedral crystals of fluorite measuring to 1.8 cm in size scattered nicely across the top of this scalenohedral calcite crystal matrix, the calcite crystals now totally replaced by granular quartz. The specimen is in really good condition and makes for a good cabinet sized example from this New Mexico locality.
