specimen number:
1651318
location:
St Peter's Mine, Sparty Lea, Allendale, Northumberland, England, UK
description:
Cubic crystals of fluorite measuring to 2.0 cm in size across the top of this matrix and partially covered with sparkling crystals of siderite. Minor quartz present as well. Some cleaving present as seen, still quite nice for this locality. Brightly fluorescent under longwave ultraviolet light. I believe that these were collected in the 1990s.
