Galena
specimen number:
3351008
location:
R.C. West Fork, Fletcher mine, Viburnum Trend, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA
description: Very unusual bar-shaped elongated I believe twinned incredibly lustrous galena crystal without matrix. One can find a very tiny pinhole in the bottom of the piece which I assume goes the length of the crystal grouping. From a recent find, I have not seen anything quite like these. Very interesting and neat. In very good condition.
Size: 3.5 x 0.4 x 0.4 cm (miniature)
