Excellent sharply formed semi-lustrous cubic crystals of galena measuring to 4.5 cm on a diagonal set aesthetically over the front side of a 16.0 x 12.0 x 7.5 cm chert matrix. Minor calcite and sphalerite present as well. This is in very fine condition with only the most minimal of micro-rubbing present. A beautiful choice old-time cabinet display piece for this classic mining district. Shipping weight: 2.73 pounds. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
