description: Non-lustrous but very large octahedral crystals of galena to 3.0 cm across set nicely on top of this 11.5 x 9.0 x 5.0 cm quartz crystal coated matrix. Iridescent crystals of chalcopyrite are scattered throughout. This is in great condition. While not lustrous, these are very sharply formed and large crystals for this habit for the species from the mining district. Nice with the added color from the chalcopyrite and sparkle from the quartz. Shipping weight: 1.08 pounds.
