Extremely large bright sharply formed cubic crystal of Galena set on a thin breccia matrix. This shows a pronounced octahedral face on one corner. Minor marcasite scattered throughout. In very fine condition all around and measures 8.0 x 7.0 x 6.5 cm. Previous data card from the collection of Gene Tribbey. His card notes that he acquired the specimen in 1973 and at the time was considered a very old piece. The luster, for the species at this mining district, is outstanding. Shipping weight: 1.98 pounds.
