description: Very large well formed sharp octahedral semi-lustrous crystals of galena measuring to 3.2 cm across forming an attractive 7.5 x 7.5 x 5.5 cm cluster. Minor dolomite and marcasite present as well. Previous label notes that this is from the Tri-State District, however this is definitely from the Viburnum Trend. Shows nicely all around and sits perfectly by itself for display, this is in excellent condition. These are extremely large crystals for this type of crystal habit for the species from the Viburnum Trend. Shipping weight: 1.21 pounds.
