Bright lustrous sharp crystals of galena to 1.5 cm on edge scattered throughout a chert matrix with sparkling black to red micro crystals of sphalerite. The galena crystals show modifications typical of this mining district. This one much more lustrous than most, in very good condition and I think quite fine. Certainly collected pre-1970.
