description: Very fine cabinet sized combination piece showing a lustrous sharp crystal 2.8 cm across set on a chert matrix which is richly scattered with lustrous black and red sphalerite crystals to 0.8 cm. Very minimal micro-chipping present, overall this is in very fine condition. Sits beautifully by itself for display and measures 14.0 x 11.0 x 10.0 cm in size. Previous label notes that this at one time was part of the Yale Peabody Museum. A previous label on the back bottom side of the specimen attached with potty is that of collector George Feist. Exceptionally fine. Shipping weight: 3.68 pounds.
