Gold
specimen number:
1791009
location:
California, USA
description:
Bright crystallized wires of native gold on matrix. The matrix consists mostly of massive quartz. The specimen came with a previous label stating that the piece came from a locality in Marquette County, Michigan. This label noted that the specimen was acquired originally in 1970 and was described as being very old at the time. I do not believe that this is from Michigan. We will however pass on the prior information as shown at the end of the video. Regardless, this is a neat old specimen.
