At this locality, guilleminite is often found in association with copper minerals such as digenite and malachite, creating striking color contrasts between the vivid yellow guilleminite, metallic gray digenite, and green malachite. These minerals form through complex oxidation and enrichment processes involving uranium and copper bearing solutions. Specimens from Musonoi showing these associations are highly valued for their rarity and aesthetic appeal, as well as for their representation of the unique geochemical environment of the Katanga Copper Belt.
