Glassy mostly gemmy crystals of quartz measuring to 1.6 cm in size across the top of this hematite matrix. A second-generation of bright metallic lustrous micaceous hematite crystals are present as well. Typical of these micro-chipping is present, this one still very good. Attractive British classic.
