Bright lustrous metallic bladed crystals of hematite measuring to 1.6 cm in size across the top of this crystallized gemmy quartz matrix with adularia. This is in great condition. Small crystals of rutile are present as well. The specimen comes with several antique labels, unfortunately one somewhat torn. The piece dates to 1866.
