Classic old time specimen that used to be called calamine. Crystallized hemimorphite throughout this crystallized smithsonite matrix. Some casting is evident, possibly after previous calcite crystals. Likely collected in the late 1800s. Previous label notes that at one time part of the Lehigh University collection in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
