Hubnerite with Ankerite, Pyrite

specimen number:
3651055

location:
Eagle mine, Gilman, Eagle Co., Colorado, USA

description:
Very unusual specimen for this famous locality with needlelike crystals of hubnerite measuring to almost 1.5 cm in length scattered across the top of these blocky gray translucent and semi lustrous crystals of what is said to be ankerite. Pyrite present as well. I could not find any references for hubnerite at this locality, but it does look like the specimen comes from the Eagle mine. And it is definitely hubnerite present.
