description:
A cluster of thin bladed crystals replaced by hydroxylapatite. This is classic old material from this locality. These are normally labeled as coming from the Ojuela mine. I do not believe that anybody has really worked out the identification of the initial crystals, I believe likely these were gypsum. The specimen at one time was part of the collection of William Schultz, Wabash, Indiana. This dates to the 1960s.
