A striking specimen of glassy translucent hydroxylherderite from Auburn, Maine featuring well formed crystals up to 2.3 cm on matrix, offered with its antique early 20th century label as shown at the end of the video. The crystals exhibit excellent clarity and luster with rich phosphorus bearing character typical of the pegmatite environments of Maine which have produced an array of rare phosphate species prized by collectors for over a century.
