Metallic veins of jordanite with schalenblende. The specimen comes with an antique label as shown at the end of the video and dates to the very early 20th century. Quite rare. This piece was originally acquired through the famous German dealership of Dr. F. Krantz in Bonn.

The Deutsch Blei Scharley Mine at Rozbark in Bytom, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland was part of the Upper Silesian lead and zinc mining district. Mining in the area developed in the 19th century to extract galena and sphalerite from Mississippi Valley type deposits hosted in limestone and dolomite. Numerous underground workings produced lead and zinc ores for regional smelting operations
