Kobyashevite with Calcite, Gypsum (post mining)
specimen number:
8282623
location:
Ojuela mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
description:
Attractive green kobyashevite covering scalenohedral crystals of calcite. Gypsum present as well. In my opinion, this is basically a fake specimen in which someone has added copper sulfate solution to cover the calcite crystals. Still very attractive.
