description: Lemanskiite is a rare secondary copper mineral that forms in the oxidized zones of copper deposits. It is a hydrated copper aluminum sulfate mineral that typically occurs as very small blue to blue green crystals or thin coatings on rock surfaces. The mineral is usually found in association with other secondary copper sulfates and phosphates formed by the weathering of primary copper ores.
