Purple crystals of lepidolite covering the top of this matrix, these are actually coating deep green crystals of terminated elbaite. This is seen from the backside quite obviously. Unique and quite different, this is in really good condition. Mr. Woollams acquired this specimen through Keith Proctor in the mid-1980's.
