description: Beautiful chatoyant deep green crystalline malachite coating previous large deep blue lustrous bladed crystals of azurite to 2.5 cm in size. Some replacement has occurred, most of the malachite however is present as a coating upon the azurite. In excellent condition. The base of the matrix is been shaped with a trim saw lightly. Beautiful hand specimen from this little-known locality. Measures 10.5 x 10.5 x 6.5 cm. Shipping weight: 1.88 pounds.
