Malachite after Azurite
specimen number:
4551042
location:
New Cornelia mine, Ajo, Pima Co., Arizona, USA
description:
A large ball shaped grouping of crystallized malachite, this hosting blocky crystals of what were once azurite, these now also replaced by malachite. This is crystallized completely all around with very little matrix attached on the back bottom side. Some rubbing present as seen, this still in very large example for one of these Arizona classic pseudomorph specimens.
