An open pocket measuring almost 6.0 cm across in this banded massive malachite matrix is lined with bladed crystals of what were once azurite to 1.3 cm in size now replaced by malachite. Previous label from the collection of Mark Hay. In very fine condition. Marquette originally purchased the specimen from me, and the previous antique label with the specimen comes from The Bradleys out of Los Angeles, California. This piece also appeared in one of our advertisements in The Mineralogical Record, volume 51, number 5, page 650.
