Satiny black double terminated crystals of manganite to 1.0 cm in size over the top of this 6.0 x 4.0 x 2.0 cm matrix. Crystals of calcite, crude but to 2.0 cm in size are present as well. This is in very fine condition. Neat old label with the specimen placing this one from the lesser known locality for the species of Ilmenau, not the normal as seen from the Hartz Mountains. Shipping weight: 0.16 pounds.
