description:
Very sharp sizable bladed crystals of marcasite measuring to 1.3 cm in size on matrix with minor pyrite. In good condition, very unusual locality for the species. Collected by Shawn Carlson in March, 2000. The crystals are in the process of being replaced by goethite.
