A classic Colorado combination specimen with bluish green blocky crystals of microcline measuring to 2.0 cm in size on a matrix with semi lustrous slightly translucent crystals of smoky quartz. The specimen is in good condition. Many of these specimens are repaired, I cannot find any repairs on this piece. This is the variety of microcline known as amazonite.
