A classic Colorado specimen with light bluish green blocky crystals of amazonite measuring to 0.8 cm in size across the top of this granite matrix with crystals of smoky quartz. The specimen is in good condition. The specimen comes with several antique labels, one of them from the collection of a Mr. Poteat from Huntsville Alabama. This was a collection that I acquired sometime in the mid 1990s. If I remember correctly, he likely acquired the specimen through Colorado dealer Richard Kosnar.
