A grouping of lustrous golden sharp cubic pyrite crystals. Slight damage present, still quite nice. Complete all around. There are no points of attachment.

The Black Cloud Mine near Leadville in Lake County, Colorado was developed in the 20th century as part of the historic Leadville mining district. The mine worked replacement deposits in limestone that contained lead, zinc, and silver minerals. Modern underground mining methods were used to extract ore for many years.
