description:

A grouping of pyrite crystals measuring to 3.0 cm in size coated by metallic gray chalcocite and set with gemmy crystals of quartz to 3.5 cm in length. The entire specimen is lightly dusted with needlelike micro crystals of mimetite. Neat combination piece with very minimal chipping in one area center lower right as seen in the picture. Still I think this is really quite good for pyrite at this locality.
