Pyrite with Sphalerite
specimen number:
3651159
location:
Leadville district, Lake Co., Colorado, USA
description:
Fine cluster from this famous mining district with lustrous cubic crystals of pyrite to 3.0 cm on edge covering a thin massive pyrite matrix. Scattered throughout small sparkling lustrous black crystals of sphalerite. Very minimal and sparse micro-chipping present as seen in the picture and video, overall I think this in very good condition. Nice old timer.
