description: Lustrous black sprays of acicular pyrolusite, the main one 1.5 cm across, set near the top of a 7.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 cm crystallized quartz matrix. Not absolutely perfect, but still in very good condition and a nice example for the species from this locality. Previous label notes that this was collected in 1980. Shipping weight: 0.22 pounds.
