Pyromorphite-after-Cerussite with Malachite, Goethite, Quartz
specimen number:
3631063
location:
Black Pine mine, Granite Co., Montana, USA
description:
This is outstanding for the locality, I really like this one. Twinned crystals of cerussite measuring to 1.7 cm in size now replaced by light green crystallized pyromorphite. These are set on a crystalline quartz matrix with minor malachite and goethite. In great condition. I am told this is a one time small pocket found in August, 1982.
