A neat and attractive example of what is known as beta quartz, this a double terminated jet black lustrous crystal without prison faces. There is very little attached matrix. In good condition as seen. Several labels come with the specimen, including one noting that the specimen was on display at the 2023 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show.
