description: At first appearance the specimen looks like an excellent amethyst specimen from Thunder Bay, Canada. However it is an absolute exceptional example from a little-known locality in Kazakhstan. The crystals are incredibly bright and lustrous with a beautiful reddish Brown color due to hematite. The crystals measure to 3.5 cm across and are an outstanding condition. This measures 22.0 x 13.0 x 11.0 cm overall. Displays beautifully on its own. Unique and exceptionally fine.
