Quartz
specimen number:
1821512
location:
Temirtaushik, Mangyshlak Peninsula, Kazakhstan
description:
An exceptional large cabinet display quality piece for this Kazakhstan locality. Dark orange incredibly lustrous pyramidal crystals of quartz measuring to almost 4.0 cm across are lining a large open pocket which spans across the front of a 27.5 x 23.0 x 15.0 cm matrix. Basically a large open geode vug, this sits beautifully by itself for display and is an outstanding condition. Specimen such as this were rarely seen available from this already uncommon locality.
Size: 27.5 x 23.0 x 15.0 cm (large-cabinet)
