Very unusual quartz specimen consisting of a prismatic feldspar crystal partially coated with tiny black schorl crystals, and then translucent to gemmy smoky quartz crystals measuring is largest 3.5 cm in size coming off of this crystal all on a common orientation. Shows neatly all around and in very good condition with only minimal micro-chipping present, this measures 9.0 x 5.5 x 3.5 cm. Very neat the way the quartz is oriented off of the feldspar crystal epitaxially. Known by some as Gitter quartz, however I do not know why. Shipping weight: 0.46 pounds.
