description: From a famous find made in 1966, quartz specimens from this cleft are noted amongst experienced collectors as being of the finest quality. This specimen does not disappoint. Absolute gem quality smoky quartz glassy prismatic crystals to 3.0 cm in length are set aesthetically over the top of an 8.5 x 7.0 x 5.0 cm matrix. The piece has a small Plaster of Paris base on the bottom, this out of view when displayed properly. The piece sits perfectly on this base for display and will show well all around. All of the prominent crystals are absolutely perfect and extremely sharp. The quality in terms of luster and transparency is extremely high. A very fine Alpine specimen.
Size: 8.5 x 7.0 x 5.0 cm (small-cabinet)
