Old time classic specimen from this North Carolina locality, translucent glassy gemmy smoky purple crystals of quartz measuring to 4.0 cm in size forming a matrix less cluster. Very minimal chipping present, I think this in good condition, especially considering the size of the piece a number of crystals present.
