description: Neat old time Swiss quartz specimen, this a double terminated colorless gemmy crystal. In great condition all around. The specimen comes with a previous label from Senator F.J. Kessler and dates at 1909 as shown at the end of the video. Senator F.J. Kessler was a prominent German mineral collector based in Frankfurt am Main during the early twentieth century. He assembled a significant, high-quality collection of European mineral specimens, with a particular focus on historic German ore districts such as Freiberg and the Erzgebirge, leaving behind well-documented examples that remain preserved in institutional and private collections.
