description: Sparkling micro crystallized quartz completely replacing large scalenohedral crystals of calcite to 4.0 cm in size. These calcite crystals completely and nicely cover the top of a 12.0 x 8.0 x 7.0 cm matrix. In some areas the outer layer of the quartz has been lightly broken away to reveal an underlying quartz crystal layer as well. Sits perfectly by itself for display and shows well all around. Neat pseudomorph example. Shipping weight: 1.34 pounds.
