Quartz-(Japan-twin)
specimen number:
3361023
location:
Collier Creek mine, Montgomery Co., Arkansas, USA
description: Japan law twin quartz specimens from Arkansas are not very common. This huge example is outstanding. Glassy absolute gem quality colorless large twin crystals set on a small amount of matrix. Very slight minimal chipping along the back edge on the right side of the piece, personally I think not a big deal when considering what this is. The specimen was figured in The Mineralogical Record magazine in a What's New section at one time in the past.
