description:
A grouping of flattened rhombohedral crystals of calcite measuring to 3.5 cm in size across the top of this matrix and coated with sparkling micro crystals of quartz. This is in good condition. The specimen was collected in the very early 1900s and comes with several previous antique labels including one from the University of Pennsylvania.
