Quartz (twin)

specimen number:
5004336

location:
Washington Camp, Santa Cruz Co., Arizona, USA

description:
A very fine example from this noted Arizona locality, several Japan law twin quartz crystal groupings, the prominent one measuring to 4.0 cm across, coming off matrix. This is complete all around. What at first appears to be damage to some of the lesser non-twinned crystals is actually natural crystallization. Much better in quality than most from this locality.
