description: Wonderful amethyst example for this old and famous Russian locality with a glassy grouping of near transparent deep purple amethyst crystals 5.0 cm across set nicely on matrix with colorless glassy mostly gemmy smaller quartz crystals. Very minimal micro-chipping present, overall this is in terrific condition I think. Sits perfectly by itself for display and measures 11.5 x 10.5 x 6.5 cm in size overall.
