The top of this matrix is mostly covered by red crystallized quartz. Scattered across the top of this quartz are colorless crystals of dolomite. Crystals of chalcopyrite to almost 1.0 cm in size are present as well. The red color is due to the presence of hematite. Slight damage is present when you look close, still very nice.
