Glassy mostly gemmy beautiful red crystals of quartz to 4.0 cm in size over the top of this 16.5 x 8.0 x 7.0 cm matrix. The red color due to inclusions of hematite, the crystals exhibit Phantom crystals on the inside. These are sitting on a bed of crystallized green epidote. White inclusions of crystallized dolomite present as well. Very minimal chipping to the lower left front side. On the right side what at first appears to be a damaged crystal is actually re-healed and not damage. Displays nicely with great color and luster, very attractive. From material collected around 2005. Shipping weight: 3.03 pounds. Ex Charles Noll collection.
