Sharp lustrous crystals of quartz measuring to 1.2 cm in size across the top of this hematite matrix and dusted with bright metallic micro crystals of hematite. Small calcite crystals are present as well. This neat specimen is in good condition. Small crystals of what are likely ankerite are present as well.
