description: The top side of this 10.0 x 8.0 x 4.5 cm breccia matrix is coated by sparkling small colorless gemmy quartz crystals. Numerous cubic crystals of bright brassy pyrite to 1.0 cm in size are present. The quartz has started to envelop these, showing what happens before the previous sulfide is etched away leaving empty casts as often seen on specimens from this mine. Minor calcite present as well. One tiny area with a small chip of what was a calcite crystal present, just to the left of the main pyrite crystal. Outside of this in excellent condition and sits perfectly by itself for display. Shipping weight: 0.81 pounds.
